When you stopped by a dealer or ordered your metal building online you got what is a copy of the order to produce your steel building. That order is what Carolina Carports uses to produce all the components for your specific building in our manufacturing plant.
Before we produce the steel frame and all the other components needed. We call you to confirm that what was ordered on the order form from the dealer is correct. Any modifications to that order will require a new order to be submitted in most cases.
Once the order is confirmed with you then we start the manufacturing process. At the time of installation after the work is completed and inspected by you, the contractor will have you sign your invoice and take payment for the balance if there is one remaining. The installer will then give you a carbon copy of the invoice from Carolina Carports.
Let's start at the top and work our way down the invoice.
Your Invoice number is located at the top right corner of the invoice. You will need this when referencing your carport or garage. In addition you will need to provide the state the metal building is installed in.
In the top left corner you will see the dealer. This is where you placed your order. If you were to want to make changes upgrade or cancel your order this is the place to contact first.
As you look across the top of the invoice the information there is the information that was provided to Carolina Carports and confirmed with you prior to your building being manufactured so that we have the correct build for you. Along with your contact information and site of installation information.
In the body of the invoice you will then see all the items that are needed to build your steel structure. This will vary greatly depending on the size and options that you have ordered; for example doors, windows, metal garage doors and so on.
At the bottom you have the payment options and information fields that are to be filled in by you at the time of installation. After you are satisfied that the work has been completed to your satisfaction by the contractor.
Your invoice has two sides. On the back you will find terms and conditions, workmanship warranty, information on care for your steel carport, and more.
