Who is Authorized to Do Warranty Repairs?

You must contact an authorized Carolina Carports dealer for warranty repairs. While any Carolina Carports dealership will provide warranty service information, we recommend you return to your selling dealer.

Please note that certain warranty repairs require special training and/or equipment, so not all contractors are authorized to perform all warranty repairs. This means that, depending on the warranty repair needed, you may expect longer than usual wait times to have a specialized contractor perform warranty repairs on your building. In certain instances, Carolina Carports may authorize that your building be replaced all together; in that instance Carolina Carports will contact one of our elite installers to service your building or repair.

A reasonable time must be allowed to perform a repair after contacting the dealership. Repairs will be made using Carolina Carports Certified Original Parts, or re-manufactured or other parts that are authorized by Carolina Carports Inc.

Who Pays for Warranty Repairs?

Carolina Carports, Inc. covers the cost of warranty repairs performed under the New Building Limited Warranty Coverage during the warranty period of the New Building Limited Warranty. Federal or state governments may require an environmental or disposal on all or a portion of a warranty repair, our contractors are required to return the materials to Carolina Carports for disposal of any unused material.

When Does the Warranty Begin?

The warranty begins on the original installation date. This is the “original warranty start date”.
